Mental Health First Aid for Older Adults
October 17 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. This training — which focuses on the unique experiences and needs of adults over the age of 65 — gives you skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
This course is offered by the Mental Health First Aid Collaborative of McLean County. The course fee of $12 includes the course materials, lunch and snack. Call (309) 888-5539 for more information. Register here.
