Has an extensive knowledge of nutrition and weight management best practices that are scientifically proven, approved and safe for all. The dietitian is able to design and implement wellness programs related to nutrition and a healthy food environment. Other responsibilities include ability to counsel clients and complete comprehensive nutrition assessments for a wide variety of clients, challenges and conditions. The dietitian will also develop, market, and distribute nutrition related health education information as well as conduct nutrition lectures and food demonstrations.


  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or related field.
  • Must be a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist


Skilled communicator, results-oriented, organized, outgoing, friendly, compassionate, team oriented, articulate and strong knowledge of health and wellness coaching.

Master’s Degree in pertinent field of study and hold certifications for special populations through nationally accredited organizations.

Minimum of one year experience in Dietitian or Nutrition services.

Group Fitness Instructor

part Time

We are looking for Group Fitness Instructors with a high-energy, engaging group exercise class format that attracts and retains the center’s membership base. The instructor must be outgoing, personable and have the ability to motivate members and actively teach assigned courses. Dependability is critical as is the ability to be flexible and accommodating as it relates to the needs of the members and the class schedule, from early mornings, mid-morning, afternoon and evening.


  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)


  • Teaching: 1 year Preferred)
  • Looking for Instructors in the specific format of spin, cycle, aquatic fitness, and yoga.

Personal Trainer

full and Part Time

The Personal Trainer is a key member of the Fitness Team. Must display a concentrated knowledge of specific training and performance-related matters including, but not limited to: sports and human performance, general nutrition principles and personal and/or small group training. 

POSITION DESCRIPTION: A Personal Trainer must be experienced in overseeing and executing a best-in-class sports performance program which is inclusive of incorporating cutting-edge science and research alongside proven and effective training techniques and applying it to youth, as well as elite level, athletes to maximize their human potential and performance. The Personal Trainer will also be responsible for the execution of the personal and small-group training ancillary service line and delivering a highly-motivating and well-organized experience.


  • Certifications such as, but not limited to: NSCA-CSCS, NASM- PES/CPT, NATA- AT, BLS/AED

    Fitness Services Manager

    Full Time

    The Fitness Services Manager is a leadership position and that fulfills a critical role in the overall success of a company that is uniquely positioned and passionately committed to improving the health and wellbeing of the members and communities we serve.

    The duties of the FSM will include the development, management, and overall leadership of the Fitness Team. The FSM should have a concentrated knowledge of, and is the center’s expert for, specific health and wellness-related matters including, but not limited to clinically integrated/preventative transition programming, general nutrition principles related to weight loss, and corporate/worksite wellness initiatives. Experienced in developing, managing and administering a comprehensive and individualized approach to whole-person health and the associated service offering designed to achieve an optimal state of wellbeing. This is inclusive of delivering safe and effective exercise prescription protocols, employing basic lifestyle and behavior management principles and applying the department’s assessment and health risk stratification policy. The FWM will also be responsible for the development and administration of all physician referred, medically-based programming as well as all corporate health/worksite wellness programming.


    • Bachelor’s degree is exercise science related field
    • Current BLS/AED Certification
    • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
    • Minimum of 2 years of strong, progressive customer service experience
    • Excellent organizational skills, recording keeping ability and relationship development skills

      Fitness Coach

      Part Time

      The Fitness Coach is a key member of the Fitness team. Must be able to develop and administer a comprehensive pre-activity screening and design an appropriate plan of care that includes an appropriate exercise prescription. Has a concentrated knowledge and mastery of exercise prescription and fitness for a wide scope of populations. Is able to apply the department’s health risk stratification policy to ensure all clients safe initiation of exercise in the center. Duties will also include executing day-to-day operations, providing supervision to members exercising on the fitness floor, delivering safe and effective personal training services, assisting administering medically-integrated programs, and potentially instructing small group classes.


      • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field (Exercise Physiology, Sports Medicine, or Athletic Training)
      • Current BLS/AED Certification
      • Nationally Accredited Personal Training Certification such as, but not limited to: NATA- AT; ACSM- HFS, CES; NASM- CES, CPT; ACE- CPT

      Licensed Massage Therapist

      • Maintains all licensing and certifications required to practice in State of Illinois and Carle Health & Fitness Center requirements.

      • Current Licensure and State Certification for Massage Therapy
      • Fluent in the English language
      • Legal to work in the United States
        Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience and 1 year of massage experience
      • Excellent organizational skills, recording keeping ability and relationship development skills


      Specialty certification from reputable organization in areas such as, but not limited to, Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial techniques, craniosacral, infant and pre-natal massage.
