Art that Moves Us
August 7 @ 8:30 am - 9:45 am

Young artists will take an active approach to art – exploring artists whose physicality/movement are part of their art, learning about labor-intensive mediums, and experiencing artworks that move their audiences. Each class will include opportunities for brains and bodies to connect through artmaking, as young artists are inspired by the likes of Heather Hansen and her bilateral drawing technique; local artist David Dow, who strings thousands of seed beads to create his sculptures; the kinetic, hands-on installations of Rebecca Horn; and more!
Class themes include drawing, costume, puppetry, printmaking, beading, and more!
