Your Carle Health & Fitness Center Membership Includes…
Within your first week of joining the Center, you will meet with a degreed and credentialed fitness coach to discuss your current health history, physical capacity, and goals. You will have the opportunity to get biometric and anthropometric measurements, such as blood pressure, lipid and glucose readings, weight, waist measurements, and your BMI as well as an aerobic capacity test and strength testing. This first comprehensive assessment will take approximately 45-60 minutes and you should wear comfortable workout clothing and shoes.
Within a week of completing your comprehensive assessment your Fitness Coach will guide you through an exercise prescription designed based upon your health history as well as your goals and physical capacity. This exercise prescription will be loaded on to your Wellness Key that can be accessed from our fitness floor kiosks and all Technogym equipment. Every 12 weeks you have the opportunity to reassess your fitness needs with your coach. In these appointments, you will have the opportunity to discuss new goals and any changes in your health history. Modifications to the current exercise prescription can be made based upon these changes. The exercise prescription takes approximately 45-60 minutes. Reassessments take approximately 30 minutes.
The MYWellness App connects you with Carle Health & Fitness Center allowing you to check the Center Capacity, book Group Fitness classes, view hundreds of On Demand workouts and communicate with your Fitness Coach. MYWellness app also integrates with other apps such as fitbit, myfitnesspal, etc. to allow you to seamlessly track online and offline results.
We offer over 50 classes per week in a variety of formats. All classes are led by our expert instructors and are able to be modified so that you can participate with the pace and activity that fits your comfort level. Group Fitness classes are offered in-person at CHFC and also available from the comfort of your home…or anywhere, with Your Wellness Anywhere.

Join this class for a safe, supervised and fun exercise program designed to help individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Exercise is proven to reduce tremors, increase strength and improve quality of life. Rock Steady Boxing is a non contact boxing class. Equipment is included with enrollment. Learn more HERE.
KickStart is a youth fitness program aimed at getting kids, ages 8 to 13, active on a regular basis. Children will have fun and build self confidence and increase physical activity. This is a great option for homeschooling physical education requirements too! Learn more HERE.
An exercise program for adults with mild to moderate disabilities with multiple sclerosis (MS). Group classes will focus on educating individuals about exercising with MS. This program will also provide opportunities for participants to experience and engage in different forms of exercise. Learn more HERE.
FIT4BABY® is designed specifically for moms to be. All exercises are carefully selected to prepare your body for the many changes you will experience during pregnancy. You can begin FIT4BABY at any point during pregnancy as the workouts are scientifically based, purposeful and designed to accommodate your changing body. The 60 minute workout includes cardio, strength, balance, and flexibility training and ends with a relaxing meditation; everything you need during this precious time! Learn more HERE.

Focus on strengthening your core and the pelvic floor muscles under the guidance of a physical therapist, with Pelvicore. With a combination of cardio, strength and specific muscles targeted to your core and floor, this class helps to alleviate urinary incontinence issues associated with childbirth or menopausal changes and other issues. When it comes to changing our behavior, many of us know what we should be doing, but we may struggle with how to accomplish it. We often don’t have clear expectations or reasons for changing or maybe we don’t have the right tools. Join us to learn more about how you can create a long-term change in your life. Half of each session will consist of learning about a topic related to behavior change such as motivation, mindset, and overcoming barriers. The other half of the session will involve sharing our experiences and supporting each other.

Health coaching is a process designed to help you meet your optimal health and well being. You’ll work with a health coach who is trained to help you develop and implement your own personal wellness plan. They will partner with you as you take control of your own health, by first helping you define what wellness means to you. Personal training services provide a higher level of support, motivation, and accountability on an on going basis. Sessions are scheduled according to your availability and preference. There is a variety of package options including 30 and 60 minutes sessions as well as options for individuals, semi private, and small groups. Get results by training with our multifaceted approach aimed at improving speed, strength, agility, and decreasing the potential for injury. All athletes start with an individual evaluation that will allow the coaching staff to make the proper exercise prescription to ensure the athletes succeed in their sport. More advanced athletes can join our Performance Academy, where advanced level strategies are utilized to sharpen a strong athletic foundation into optimal functionality. Focus on developing functional strength throughout your entire body. Our goal is to help you build a better body safely and efficiently, while being part of a great community. Classes include a wide variety of intervals, Olympic movements, and body weight exercises.
This thirty minute fast paced bootcamp style class guarantees a great workout! Join Coach Leslie every morning in the Training and Performance Center and be taken through a full body workout in a small group setting.
