Tip Tuesday (Dietitian): Complex Carb Breakfast

If you struggle with mid-morning energy crashes there are a few things you can try using nutrition!

Last week’s tip was to add protein to your breakfast. This week combine a complex carbohydrate with protein in your breakfast to feel satisfied and ready to go both at breakfast and until lunchtime. Include foods such as fruit, whole-grain toast, or oatmeal to increase your complex carbohydrates at breakfast time.
