Get Outside This Summer!
With the warm weather flooding into the Midwest, now is the time to get outside! Moving some of your workouts outside can have many benefits: decreasing the effects of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), depression and anxiety; give you a way to change up your routine; and can even feel more fun than an indoor workout. Go for a hike, walk your dog, practice yoga, do a HIIT workout, or even just play in your yard or the park to get all the benefits of exercising outdoors! Just don’t forget to wear sunscreen and drink plenty of water while you’re at it.
