Short answer: it depends!
Strength training for kids can be a confusing topic, especially with the internet giving conflicting answers everywhere you turn. There is no true “best time” for kids to start strength training. However, if your child is around 7 – 8 years old, can follow directions, and participates in sport(s), then it might be a good idea for them to get a head start on some weight training!
